A well-known event co-organized by the school's Career Team and the Alumnae Association (AA), the Mock Interview provides an opportunity for students to practise their interview skills essential for university and job search.

Concerning National Education Posted on 7 September 2012

In response to the recent discussion concerning National Education, AA will support the stance of our alma mater as below:

各位校友會新舊委員：

近日不少團體就「推行德育及國民教育科」一事表達意見，而本校乃天主教修會中學，自當依循天主教教區的指引處理此事。基於以上原則，本人把本校的立場說明如下：

(1) 本校依從香港天主教教教區指引，暫不增設「國民教育」一科。

(2) 本校向來重視培育學生道德情操和國家公民的責任。課程及活動中，早有此等元素︰

(i) 向有道德及國民教育組，舉辦不同活動協助學生建立良好品格和認清身為國家公民的責任。

(ii) 中國語文、中國文學、中國歷史等科目，讓學生體認中華文化並培養對國家、民族的感情。

(iii) 從不避談個別歷史議題，致力培養學生的分析和批判思維能力，好讓學生他日投身社會時，能獨立思考、對社會盡責。例如宗教教育科會講述六四事件，引導學生探討生命倫理、生命意義等問題。

(3) 本校校訓為「同繫於愛」，聖家精神中亦早有「獨立思考，兼容並包」一項。全體師生將抱持此固有精神，以開放、持平的態度繼續關注、討論各種社會議題。

Voting for HFCS's Love Ideas Love HK Project Posted on 18 June 2012

Holy Family Canossian School (HFCS) needs your support again in “Love Ideas Love HK”, the fund-bidding campaign that awards the designated sum to the several projects with the highest number of public votes! With last year’s grant, our little sisters can now experiment with their youthful visions in multimedia terms. This year, HFCS has drawn up another proposal of creative learning—Reading Garden. Every single vote from the public will help to raise the possibility of winning the fund. As a member of our Holy Family, Please take a few minutes to help improve the learning environment of our sister school! The deadline for voting is 8^th July, 2012.

We are happy to announce that our 40th Anniversary Celebration Dinner (to be held on 7 July) is officially FULL HOUSE! We have already received applications of 70 tables! We regret to inform that further applications or walk-ins cannot be catered. Thank you very much for your active participation! We look forward to seeing you in July!
